2. Google Analytics API Integration

To provide you with comprehensive SEO, performance, and website traffic benchmarks, AltCMO allows users to authenticate and link their Google Analytics accounts.

Scopes Requested: We request read-only access to your Google Analytics data via the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly scope.

Accessed Data: Our application accesses account and property configurations, transaction data, visitor statistics, user channel traffic, bounce rates, and device usage statistics.

3. How We Use Google User Data

The information accessed via the Google Analytics API is used solely to:

  • Generate and display interactive reports and traffic data within your personalized dashboard.
  • Compare your website performance against anonymized AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry benchmarks.
  • Formulate optimization recommendations and digital marketing intelligence.

Important: We do not use Google user data for advertisements, targeting, profiling, or anything unrelated to showing you your site metrics.

4. Data Storage & Security

We prioritize the security of your data above all else:

  • OAuth Credentials: Your authentication tokens (access and refresh tokens) are encrypted and stored securely within our authorized database infrastructure (Firebase).
  • Metrics Storage: We cache fetched Google Analytics report parameters transiently during your session to ensure speedy rendering of dashboards. We do not copy or build separate persistent databases containing your raw customer Analytics histories.

5. Google Limited Use Policy Compliance

"AltCMO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements."

6. Sharing and Disclosure of Data

We do not share, sell, trade, rent, or lease your Google user data to third-party ad networks, marketing agencies, or other third-party applications. Your data is strictly displayed to you inside your authenticated account.

7. Revoking Access and Data Deletion

You retain complete ownership and control over your Google accounts and integrations. You can disconnect or revoke access at any time:

  • Inside AltCMO: Navigate to your dashboard integrations panel and click "Disconnect" to instantly clear all tokens from our database.
  • Via Google Security Settings: You can completely revoke our platform permissions directly via the Google Account Third-Party Permissions portal.
